How to prepare cucumbers and other ingredients
Almost all cucumber fruits, even overripe ones, for which it is enough to remove the yellow peel and hard seeds inside, are suitable for this type of canning for the winter period. All other vegetables should be thoroughly washed, freed from the tips and cut into pieces.
Typically, medium-sized fruits are cut across into 2-3 parts, and then these parts are cut crosswise along. Chives are peeled and cut into large pieces.

- Put dill inflorescence on the bottom of the can.
- Top with 2 garlic heads, cut into large pieces, 5 peas of black pepper and a bay leaf.
- Then tightly fill the space of the container with cucumbers cut into pieces.
- Cover the container with a lid, without tightly twisting it, and put in a pan with water.
- Bring the water in the pan to a boil and boil a jar of cucumbers for 10 minutes, while sterilizing the cucumbers, container and lid at the same time.
- While dry sterilization lasts, prepare tomato pouring.
- Pour 200 g of granulated sugar into a container with 1500 ml of water.
- Then add 30 g of sodium chloride there.
- Top up the solution with tomato paste in an amount of 200 g.
- Stirring vigorously, bring the solution to a boil and remove from heat.
- Using a grip, remove a sterilized jar of cucumbers from a pot of water.
- Pour the marinade into it to the top and immediately tighten the lid.
- Turn the container upside down, wrap it in warm clothes and leave it to cool for a day.
Important! Tomato paste should not be replaced with tomato juice, as this will be another dish that requires other ingredients.
