On February 28 of this year, the U.S. Judicial Panel recognized the US complaint regarding purchases by the Chinese government in the domestic market of wheat and rice at overpriced prices in 2012-2015, which is a violation of WTO rules.

In a complaint filed in September 2016, the U.S. claimed that the Chinese government exceeded the level of government support for farmers by almost 100 billion US dollars.
