As part of the weekly meeting of members of the government of the Stavropol Territory, information was released that local farmers involved in the spring sowing campaign had reached the finish line for sowing spring crops.
Such information was shared with colleagues and representatives of the agro-industrial complex of the region by the head of the Stavropol Territory Administration Vladimir Vladimirov.
According to him, agricultural workers performing work in the fields managed not only to meet the planned period of spring sowing, but also slightly exceeded the plan. Grain crops carried out 82% of the total wedge, sowing the territory with oats, sugar beet, and peas.As for spring sowing of corn and sunflowers, here too, farmers are confidently moving towards the completion of work.
Also, Vladimir Vladimirov, proudly reporting on the work of farmers in the territory entrusted to him, noted that today the farmers of the Stavropol Territory are preparing the fields for a special processing process that will protect the crop from locust attacks.All the necessary fertilizers are brought into the ground. Experts assessed the state of winter crops themselves as stable.
