During the “New Corn 2019” forum of agrarian innovations, which was held in the village of Nastasov, Ternopol Region, representatives of RAGT presented a highly productive variety of wheat RZhT Reform with a potential yield of 15.5 tons.
RAGT has been engaged in the selection of crops for more than a year. This ode to the company turns 100 years old, and its breeding stations are located in France, the UK, the Czech Republic and Germany.
“I think it is precisely this diversity of placement of breeding stations that gives the result that we have. After all, the combination of different stations makes it possible to develop high-quality varieties, ”said a company representative.
Wheat variety RZhT Reform
At the New Corn Forum, the company introduced early and mid-late varieties:
- Bodicek - an early variety of wheat, foreign selection, a predecessor for winter rape;
- Ballet Shoes and Bardotka - medium early varieties (Ballet Shoes - one of the most drought tolerant varieties)
- RZhT Reform is a very highly productive variety with a potential yield of 15.5 tons.
“RZhT Reform is one of the best varieties used in Europe. After all, it is he who, for 4 years, has been occupying the first place in seed crops in Germany, ”the company representative said.
