In the spring, farmers introduced 67 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers. The average productivity in the Lugansk region amounted to 34.6 q / ha.

The best yield indicators are in the Markovsky district (45.6 centners per hectare), followed by the Novoaydarsky (40.3 centners per hectare) and Belokurakinsky (38 centners per hectare) districts.

16 elevators of the region are already ready to accept the grain harvest of 2019. Their total capacity is 790 thousand tons. Local agricultural groups own their own storage capacities for crops with a capacity of over 1 million tons.
