In the village of Polstvyn, Kanevsky District, Cherkasy Region, the traditional annual Traktorfest festival was organized by NPF Urozhai, which is part of the Mironovsky Hleboproduct agro-industrial holding.
According to the organizers, this year the event was attended by more than 4 thousand guests, among whom were not only residents of the Cherkasy region, but also representatives of other regions of Ukraine, as well as foreigners. In addition, the Ukrainian singer Olya Polyakova performed at the festival.
"Traktorfest" was held for 8 years in a row and we were able to make it massive. Earlier, the races were held on the scale of the NPF Urozhai farm, and now everyone can join, ”said Alexander Voskoboinik, director of the NPF Urozhai.
The highlight of the festival was tractor racing. The length of the track was 550 m. The number of obstacles was 3, and the turns were 9. The participants competed in MTZ, Fendt tractors and walk-behind tractors, and also ran in corn suits. This year, for the first time, women were also among the participants.
“All the stages seemed difficult: around the hills. This is a very difficult track. But I have been working at MHP since 2010, and I have the opportunity to gradually prepare for such races in the field. In addition, the Fendt is a very comfortable tractor. The cab is equipped with airbags, so it doesn’t pump this technique when driving, ”said Anatoly Chupirko, a tractor driver who won the Fendt nomination.
