Proceeding from this, experts suggest that not all the lands allotted for this crop will be able to finish sowing, since the optimal time for sowing is already underway.
In 2018, over 117 thousand tons of buckwheat was harvested from an area of 7.5 thousand hectares. Probably, this harvest will not be this fall. Whether this will affect the price of cereals is not yet clear.
