It is known that in July 2019, palm oil entered the Chinese market from external purchasers in an amount exceeding six hundred forty-four thousand tons. A year earlier, the indicator did not exceed three hundred and seventy-four thousand tons). The lion's share of exports in this case came from Indonesia.
As for soybean oil, it is delivered to China from the Russian Federation, as well as from Brazil and Argentina. It is known that such high purchases of oil from soybeans, as in July 2019, the Chinese importers have not yet done - we are talking about one hundred thirty-two thousand tons.
For a visual comparison, we add that in July 2018, China purchased only thirty-seven thousand tons of product.
But the import of rapeseed oil, the People's Republic of China has significantly reduced: in July of this year, the volume of supply of products fell to one hundred fifty two thousand tons, although a year earlier there was an indicator of one hundred sixty seven thousand tons.
It will not be amiss to note that in the first half of 2019, Chinese importers purchased a record volume of vegetable oils on the world market. We are talking about six million five hundred and sixty thousand tons of products (annual growth - thirty-nine percent).
