In the first days of the summer of 2019, analysts of the agricultural sector of the Russian Federation shared new forecasts regarding the volume of grain harvest in the country's fields.
Based on cautious assumptions by experts from the Ministry of Agriculture, this year Russia may receive about one hundred and eighteen million tons of products as a result of a grain harvest campaign.
Independent experts also conducted parallel studies, who admit that the grain volume at the end of the current season may be even higher - at least one hundred twenty-six tons, or even one hundred and thirty-six.
It is important to add that in many respects the fields of the Central Federal District influence the generous productivity, which this year is actively spike due to favorable weather conditions and a significant supply of water in the land.
Only thanks to the Central Federal District can Russia get at least eighty million tons of wheat and about twenty million tons of barley at the end of the harvesting campaign.
Estimated corn yields could exceed twelve million tons. And, it would seem that all these indicators should please the farmers.
However, agricultural producers admit: a generous harvest entails considerable problems. Especially when you consider that the foreign market is actively reducing grain prices, and the domestic market, as experts say, is already oversaturated.
