Very soon, at the very beginning of the fall of 2019, a new production project will begin in the territory of the Murmansk region. It is about putting into operation an innovative fish processing enterprise called Russian Cod.

The project was initiated by the Russian Fishery Company with the support of the Agama group of companies.

Investors promise that they will be able to receive at least 50 tons of ready-to-eat fish products made from cod and haddock every year in the production halls of the new enterprise. At the same time, the project initiators emphasize that only high-quality and premium class fish are used in production.

At the moment, measures are being taken in the production and domestic premises of the new plant to equip innovative equipment. It will not be superfluous to note that since September of this year, immediately after the plant’s commissioning, the Murmansk region will receive an additional 210 jobs that will be able to provide local residents and visitors to the region with a stable salary and social package.

As for the capacities of the new enterprise, investors are convinced: “Russian Cod” will process at least 25 tons of fish per day.

With high hopes for a new enterprise, which is being built on the territory of Murmansk, the project initiators plan to create a second similar plant for processing the same types of fish - haddock and cod.
