Experts from the Rosselkhoznadzor specializing in the activities of the Primorsky Interregional Veterinary Laboratory recently conducted a food audit at trading floors in the city of Ussuriysk.
At one point of sale, offal was removed, in which, as studies have shown, E. coli was detected.
When the investigation began, it became known that the butcher from the Oktyabrsky Rye of the Primorsky Territory put the giblets on the market. Studies have shown that Escherichia coli, which was literally “stuffed” with offal, belongs to the group of Escherichia. Most often, bacteria of this type are found on meat that was produced in unsanitary conditions and stored in places with poor hygiene. To prove the seriousness of the situation, the employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor emphasize: this stick, getting into the human body, provokes a serious intestinal disorder. The methods of the spread of Escherichia and infection of people occur by eating meat that has not undergone proper heat treatment. Especially dangerous in this case is minced meat and offal, which, due to favorable conditions for the spread of Escherichia coli, may exhibit increased seeding.
The seller of infected giblets was warned of a potential danger, and the employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor did everything in their power to ensure that by-products with Escherichia were removed from circulation and destroyed.
