On August 27, 2019, the Russian Federation received the right to ship locally produced beef to the market of a country such as Brazil. The relevant permit was issued by authorized specialists of the supervisory authorities of the importing country.

Such information was shared with the general public by representatives of the press service of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance.

In addition, Rosselkhoznadzor officials add that Russian suppliers were informed of Brazil’s consent to purchase large quantities of beef products as part of a bilateral meeting of Russian producers with members of the Secretariat for the Protection of Flora and Fauna of the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture and Supply.

In particular, Russian exporters became the owners of a veterinary certificate, which gives the right to begin supplying meat products from the Russian Federation to Brazil in the very near future.

It should be noted that far from all Russian enterprises can export beef to Brazil, but only one production organization - the Bryansk Meat Company, which is part of the Miratorg agro-industrial holding and which was visited by auditors from Latin America as part of the planned inspection .
