The Gurov family lives in the Sosnovsky district of the Tambov region and is engaged in what they love - it breeds deer. Today, the couple has a modest livestock of 35 animals, which allows farmers to receive not only dietary meat, but also horns, which are actively used in the creation of medicines.
“We have been running our farm for more than two years,” says Svetlana Gurova. “We stopped at the deer, because their meat and antlers are extremely valuable and useful.”

In the near future, the Gurovs intend to increase their livestock of deer and focus on increasing the birth rate of females in order to increase sales. According to Svetlana, breeding of this type of animal is quite affordable in the Russian climate. And the diet of deer, says Gurov, is practically no different from the feed of cows and other horned farm animals.
