On the territory of the Ulyanovsk region, the harvesting process on local grain and leguminous fields began on July 8, 2019.

It is known that at the moment, local farmers are busy harvesting winter crops, and also participate in forage procurement.

It is noteworthy that grain-harvesting special equipment, which is used by Ulyanovsk farmers in their daily professional practice, can be fully involved.

According to Mikhail Semenkin, who heads the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Ulyanovsk Region, all the equipment and technical park in the region are updated, modernized and ready to go.

It is reported that today active harvesting events are held in several municipalities in the region. By joint efforts, local farmers managed to harvest over thirty-eight thousand seven hundred tons of hay.

The plan for harvesting haylage has now been fully implemented and significantly exceeds the result of a year ago.

It is important to add that the local farm animals of the Ulyanovsk Region are already provided with feed for more than one hundred percent of the available needs.
