The fifteenth international conference was held in the Ukrainian capital, focused on workers in the country's fruit and vegetable industry.

The event entitled “Vegetables and fruits of Ukraine. Vector for Export ”has long been popular among farmers in Ukraine and neighboring countries, including EU and CIS countries.

This year, the conference gathered in Kiev about three hundred participants from different parts of the world. Twelve countries sent their delegates to the Ukrainian capital to not only exchange experiences and listen to the achievements of foreign colleagues, but also to discuss the prospects for the development of the fruit and vegetable industry.

“We came to Kiev to get acquainted with the most relevant innovations in the agricultural sector, as well as to discuss unique and bold innovative solutions in the production, storage, packaging and transportation of fruits and vegetables,” the conference participants shared.

In addition, all the delegates who arrived at the event got a chance to consider world trends in the international trade in fruit and vegetable crops both in Ukraine and abroad.

Over the course of three days, the conference participants exchanged experiences and acquired useful skills and connections. It should be noted that the event was organized by the Ukrainian Fruit and Vegetable Association with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. The conference was held as part of the large all-Ukrainian exposition Fresh Business Expo 2018.
