According to the agency, in the Stavropol region of the region, such a dangerous disease as leptospirosis affected cattle on the farm with the closed joint-stock company Lunacharsk.
It is reported that the causative agents of the virus were detected in blood samples of two cows. As soon as it became known that a serious disease had entered the stalls of the village of Lunacharsky, a quarantine regime was promptly introduced in the area.Pastoralists of the region, with the support of the regional authorities, immediately began to carry out various activities provided for by veterinary legislation and aimed at localizing the virus and preventing its spread.
It should be noted that two weeks ago, in connection with the detection of the leptospirosis virus in the blood of cows, a quarantine regime was also introduced in the village of Staraya Racheika, which is located in the Syzran region of the region. This was the first outbreak of leptospirosis in the Samara region in 2019.At the moment, preventive measures are being taken at all peasant farms in the region to prevent the penetration of leptospirosis into the stalls of Samara herders.
