In the Skovorodets forestry of the Starokonstantinovsky forestry, in the Khmelnytsky region, planted a plantation of fast-growing paulownia. This was reported by the press service of the Starokonstantinovsky forestry.

Seedlings for planting purchased with a closed root system, which allows you not to get attached to the spring planting and throughout the vegetative period to carry out the creation and addition of forest crops and plantations.

The planting planting scheme is 4 × 4 m. This provides a guaranteed area of ​​nutrition for plants and is optimal for further care and growing of wood. Paulownia is characterized by very rapid growth and under favorable conditions for five years is able to grow up to 20 m.

Paulownia wood refers to the soft breed (it has many other names: princess tree, phoenix tree, adam tree). It plays a large role in woodworking, and can also be used as biomass.

The woodworking and furniture industries know paulownia as “aluminum wood.” Its wood is 30% lighter than other species and, thanks to its fine-fiber structure, is excellent for making furniture, as well as plywood sheets and houses.
