The operation to transfer the first units of T-500 aircraft assembled by the Rostec company, who were hoping to use the Tatarstan agrarians in their work practice, was on the verge of collapse.
Following the obligations stipulated in the contract, by the end of the current month, the MVEN enterprise (Kazan) should send ten units of flight vehicles of the Kukuruznik type for farmers to use for agricultural use.
However, those experts who oversee the program cannot make an exact verdict regarding the “flying tractors” of the T-500.According to competent sources of information from aviation circles, the Rostec company supplied the T-500 series with certificates that allow this type of transport to carry out only pleasure flights in the summer. Based on this information, it is prohibited to operate the T-500 as a farm unit.
It will not be amiss to note that, mindful of the recent tragedy at Sheremetyevo Airport, when the Sukhoi-Superjet airliner crashed on the runway with 41 casualties on May 5, the process of obtaining permission for regular agricultural flights from authorized experts of the Federal Air Transport Agency may be complicated and tightened.
