Kherson enterprise “Perche grass” stepped far forward and provided its own equipment with special devices. Now agricultural combine harvesters are equipped with a yield monitoring system.
“We won’t hide, we didn’t succeed in holding this event on the first try,” says Sergei Kosyuk, head of Pershiy Travny, to reveal production nuances. - Last year we tried to work with this system, but it turned out only worse: the sensors constantly showed incorrect information on the slopes. That is, when the equipment was moving, for example, with a slope to the left and up, the sensors showed one indicator of productivity. When the driver turned the combine and moved right and down along the same route, the sensors showed completely different information. ”
The company's specialists spent more than one week in calculating and thinking. We brought in a representative of the system supplier. But the stubborn mistake did not want to be corrected. In the end, “Perche Travna” approached the solution of the situation radically and simply - changed the system supplier.“Now we are pleased with the work of the monitors,” says Sergey Kosyuk. “Moreover, the new system has special optical sensors, the monitors themselves are connected directly to the satellites, and the data is right there. On the spot, they are adjusted by means of special SIM cards of two operators at once. As a result, the error is minimal, and with the Internet, which is necessary for communication with the satellite, there is no interruption even in the evening, when we most need navigation data for analysis and systematization. ”
