At the beginning of the year, both lard and pork cost on average 27 hryvnias cheaper than today, experts say. “And this is not the limit: fat will rise in price in the coming weeks more and more!”

So, lard, which Ukrainian consumers are used to buying on market shelves, in the last days of 2018 will rise in price by as much as 10%. According to experts, the sooner you buy this product, the more money you will be able to save in the fuss. "Based on the current situation and forecasts, in Ukrainian supermarkets the prices for lard will not increase, but will be fixed at about the level that has developed today," analysts admit.
