Representatives of the government of the Khabarovsk Territory released information on the amount of damage caused to the Russian agro-industrial complex as a result of the flood attack. So, according to experts, the damage from bad weather in agriculture is estimated at one billion rubles.
These data were shared with the public by Alexander Shkurin, head of the Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Food and Processing Industry of the Khabarovsk Territory. Earlier we wrote about heavy rainfall, which provoked colossal floods in the vast Amur region.
The minister also emphasized that the flood caused the death of many crops, as a result of which the region’s total yield dropped by twenty percent.
As a result, the index of agricultural production in the territory of the region following the results of the current year will decrease by eight percent compared to last year.
It will not be superfluous to note that in the Khabarovsk Territory the total area of flooded and waterlogged territories exceeds twenty-four thousand hectares.
The flood caused damage to the assets of sixty-five enterprises operating in eight regions of the region for a total of ninety-four and a half million rubles.
However, this amount will still be adjusted, since many enterprises only send or prepare documents with information about the damage.
