The All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council initiates the holding of land veche in the regions of Ukraine. Agrarians, peasants, social activists will go to the area of regional centers to express their disagreement with the model of the land market that the government wants to impose on society.
Indeed, so far none of the land reform models proposed by the government and deputies is disadvantageous for Ukraine, as it allows foreigners and oligarchs to take possession of large tracts of land - up to 210 thousand hectares.
On Thursday, November 7, the first land veche will be held in Lviv and Kharkov. At 10:00, the veche participants will gather near the Lviv and Kharkiv Regional State Administrations (RSA).
The organizers of the action urge all who are not indifferent to the fate of the Ukrainian land to take part in the event in their regions.
Meanwhile, experts name the main reason why the vast majority of small and medium Ukrainian farmers resist the land market. Almost all of them work "in the shade."
The introduction of the land market in Ukraine will force them to make their business legal. Farmers are afraid that entering the legal field will significantly reduce their profit, as part of the money will be spent on paying taxes.
